Question re Cortisol levels

Hi wonder if anyone can help regarding a cortisol check? My Endo has requested I have this blood test, mine came back as 275 so unsure if this is normal or not? Had the test early morning. Thank you

There should be a reference range that came with the results. When Blue Horizon include them in their test bundles there's a different range for different time of day.

Hi ! I think they still considered as normal even though I read somewhere that if it is morning (8-10, I think) the optimal one is 400. Please correct me if I am wrong!

My 8:45 cortisol result was 190ish, and synacthen test comes back as sufficient response. They refused to investigate further even though I have been feeling awful these past two weeks.

Can you tell me more about the website ? I have been feeling awful for quite while but the fatigue gets really bad in these two weeks along with worse headache and feeling heavy to breath. But they declared me as fine since I have good response to the sst test even though my first morning cortisol test was around 190

Yes, as long as it works I don’t think they will care for it. Are you feeling better nowadays?
