Please could someone help me? I cannot seem to find my old posts!

Also I had a f2f appointment with my Gp on Tuesday and she has increased my Levothyroxine by 25mcg daily as my TSH had gone up slightly… and some symptoms were coming back! Mainly fatigue and sweats! Someone suggested taking 12.5 mcgs on top first but I’m finding it hard to break in half even with pill cutter! Is it possible to add 25mcgs every other day at first?

Yes you can take 25mcg every other day. Many do it that way. A few like me find that their body prefers a steady dose each day.

I can easily cut my Accord 50mcg tablet with a pill cutter but I have also taken alternate days to get the half dose. I find no difference whichever way I do it but some people do need to take the same amount every day.

Yes, I believe it is. I was having symptoms of exhaustion on 125mcg a day so I increased to 150mcg daily Felt good, but my next blood test showed my TSH was almost completely suppressed. I've now started taking 150mcg on Mon, Wed, Fri and 125mcg on all the other days. Feeling OK again. I think it's a case of trial and error. Good luck.
