Hi
I wrote last week about the concerns I had following an appointment made for a FNA recently. This didn't happen and I just had an ultrasound done and was worried that it would be recorded I had refused the test due to needle phobia. The people who replied were very helpful so I thought I would follow up as I saw the ENT specialist today.
As people had said to expect he was very reassuring and happy to answer my questions. I was able to say what I needed to say and make it clear I wanted to follow any advice given and have tests done if needed.
The good news is the hospital don't need to see me for 6 months when another ultrasound will be done and my throat lumps will be reviewed then. I have been told I mustn't worry and to ring the department if I have any concerns.
Thank you to people on here for being so supportive. You make it all feel much easier to cope with.
