Anyone else heard that Mercurypharam have liquidated and been taken over by Altruix?
As the supplier of the only T3 that works for me, I’m just a teeny bit concerned about this!

Perhaps ring the customer care number and ask?

There is a liothyronine connection to ALTURIX , doesn't seem to have any obvious connection to Mercury though.
Ah yes, this is what I saw but with the preamble that Mercury had liquidated, hence altruix acquiring it.
That sounds like somebody has got two different stories and muddled them up together .. unless it is something you 've seen ' in print'.
There was some confusion about mercury 'going into administration' .. but they have assured us they are not ,
? looks like they are doing a bit of 'tidying up' of multiple arms of a huge company /names / CEO/ Secretary etc (which of course, won't have anything at all to do with the humongous fine they are having to pay to the CMA :0 )
I agree. I found the link but most of the article is behind a paywall. Here it is just fyi though:
thepharmaletter.com/article...
It does offer a trial free registration on that page, so if you want to read the full thing, you can do so simply by registering.
I didn't see anything that suggests MercuryPharam 'have liquidated'.
On a page linked to from there though, is an article that says:
British pharmaceutical company ALTURiX has bought the UK and Ireland rights to metolazone from SIT Laboratorio Farmaceutico.
Founded in 2020, ALTURiX is focused on providing branded products at “an appropriate price,” within the British healthcare system.
The company portfolio includes three legacy branded products, acquired from Novartis, which are manufactured in Switzerland and supplied internationally.
Founder and director Lak Sahota said the deal with SIT was “the latest example of our successful growth strategy,” showing a commitment to “reliably and affordably supply important products in markets where there are currently limited options available to patients and the NHS.”
So Alturix would appear to be acquiring a whole variety of medicines from other companies, with the intention of supplying our NHS.
This could suggest perhaps that Mercury Pharma / Advanz are not going to supply T3 liothyronine to the NHS any more, but Alturix will do so. (Although it would be another brand).
Having said that, not sure where you got the idea from that MercuryPharma have liquidated, or aren't going to supply T3 any more. Nothing about that in the article you've linked to, unless it's in the 'hidden' part that you can only read if you register (which I haven't done).
Mercury Pharma is owned by Advanz which has a major backer in Nordic Capital.
I think that, at present, it is unlikely to liquidate.
