Just to follow up on previous post. I have had a conversation with doctor and she has agreed for me to increase my dose. I will now be taking 75/100 Levo on alternative days. (Its a start) And retest in 6-8 weeks. Felt liberating the fact that I was not going to take no for an answer. And we eventually got some where. Please everyone take CRIMPLE 'S advice and put your big girl pants on . Thank you all for your advice.

With TSH so high it shouldn’t have been such a battle

Well done

Come back with new post once you get next results after 6-8 weeks minimum on increased dose

Test early morning, ideally before 9am and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested?

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Thank you x not sure when they were last tested but start chemo on Monday and have had all my bloods done but I will ask at the hospital. And take vit d on a night time so well away from levo.

And its really important that they get your thyroid levels optimum. I hope all goes well with the chemo. Ive been on that journey.....still in remission 7yrs later.....so hang in there. Xx

I may just say "right, I have my big girl pants on!" next time the GP starts trying to fob me off! I may add "I have not taken my HRT today" if he keeps on.
