I posted about my concerns regarding this appointment at the weekend and am just home from the hospital. I have been told there are two lumps, one is half a centimetre across, the other I didn't catch what the size was but I think is smaller. Strangely they are on the opposite side of my neck from where I can feel the lump. I have been told they are classed as U3 which I understand is an indeterminate/equivocal nodule. I did not have a Fine Needle Biopsy today which was what I was really worried about. Instead had a camera put up each nostril and down my throat, not particularly pleasant but bearable. I'm going back to hospital next week for another scan and probably will have a FNB then. I have told them about my fear of needles!
Thank you to people for the hand holding and all the reassurance. It really did help and I was very calm throughout the appointment.
