Is anyone suffering with and increase in degenerative bone disease with your thyroid disease or from being thyroid-less?
I keep getting new brutal pain that I go see my doctor for who just sent me to have a cat scan with dye because I insisted because I thought my pain was gallbladder or kidney disease only to be told I have degenerative hip and spine disease …. I had hip pains off and on for many years but never in my life have I had back pains….
Over a year ago I also was diagnosed with degenerative shoulder disease which again I never had a shoulder issue in my life. I go to bed pain free wake up in excruciating pain and go to doctor who does X-rays and Im diagnosed with degenerative bone disease… it’s maddening and the doctors provide no reason for the sudden uptick (Im sure they thinks it’s because Im fat) and no solutions to stop it.
I had a Dexa Scan 3 years ago and 10 years before that and both say mild osteopenia and I hate to request another one because this could be the kiss of death for my T3 or my T3 increase when I see my Endo this week… I keep my mouth shut when it comes to Endo… they don’t seem to want you better they just want to reduce meds and watch you suffer more. Wish I never did this thyroidectomy.
I haven’t had my D tested in a long time as its almost impossible to get my doctor to give me one let alone a vitamin panel. I think next time I go for blood work I will pay out of pocket and treat myself if need be… aggravating.
