Glenmark brand of Levothyroxene

UPDATE

2 weeks in and no issues that I’ve noticed. My only problem was working out how to get them out the packet early morning with no specs on 😂

I’ve just picked up my prescription (small independent chemist): Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Europe Ltd - 50mcg Levothyroxene. This is a new one on me, so has anyone got feedback good or bad on this brand?

it's relatively new .. so i think you may be the first helvella

At least one member mentioned getting it. But we have not had a flood of reports. It is lactose-free.

It is always appreciated when members report things like this.

No issues 2 weeks in, once I worked out how to get them out the packet 😂 They do start to dissolve instantly in my mouth, so have a drink ready!

the levo meds i have been given are made in croatia by a company called pliva.I have not had levo before and really concerned about all these problems i have been reading ..

Pliva is simply a subsidiary of Teva.

Some members find Teva levothyroxine excellent. Some have issues with it.

I don't think anyone is suggesting a problem in the manufacture - rather, the choice of excipients.

I’m currently taking Glenmark (along with my usual concoction of Thyroid S). Only been 2 days, but so far, so good 😊
