Is an FT4 result of 10.6 (range 12-22) of any significance?

Thanks on 1 grain thyroid-s Difficult to split tablet in quarters but I will try. Perhaps half tablet too much. What do you think please?
Hello again ;
Do you take all the 1 grain NDT in one go and when was that in relation to the blood draw :
Do you think this NDT is helping you at all - have symptoms reduced - what symptoms remain ?
I'd likely go up a 1/4 grain :
Thanks I fell ok (sort of) and am intending increasing by a quarter to night, I take all in one go
Symptoms no different, results better, was on levo. and TSH creeping up but not enough to concern doc. That's why I am trying thyroid-s
I'd not be concerned about the TSH - once on any form of thyroid hormone replacement the TSH is the least important of all the results - it's all about where your T3 needs to be in the range ( hopefully ) for you to feel well with little if any symptoms of hypothyroidism.
I do think however. as we age, we need to be a little bit more circumspect with dose / symptoms :
Do you know you have 2 identical posts running this morning - and I replied twice thinking I'd had de ja vu syndrome - !!!!!
Thanks again, do you mean increase by quarter for 2 weeks, then half after?
Good advice, one of the most informative I have had from TUK
