Hello!

I live in the U.S. and take brand name Cytomel made by Pfizer. It’s currently backordered in the United States due to Pfizer’s supply chain issues. I’ve exhausted the supply in all of the pharmacies in my area. Thinking about ordering from Canada and I was hoping someone could private message me a reputable pharmacy you’ve had experience with. My supply is running low and Pfizer keeps pushing back the availability date every month. It’s making me nervous! Generic makes me sick, so the brand is my only option. Oh, and I do have a prescription for it that I can send. Thank you!

When I was on t4 and t3, I used to get my cytomel from Walmart.

There is a national shortage of Cytomel so pharmacies are out of stock and cannot reorder because Pfizer has it on back order. I’ve exhausted all of the supply Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens has in my area.

Yes I gathered that the shortage was national but I was thinking maybe you could call a Canadian walmart pharmacy, Shopper's drugmart or Rexall to help fill out the prescription or at least help you with a reputable alternative pharmacy.

Thank you! I didn’t even know the names of any places in Canada, so I will check those out.

Hi Msmustang1981,

As it is not permitted for individual pharmacies / suppliers to be discussed on the forum, I will turn off replies. Members who have a recommendation of a pharmacy in Canada may then send you a private message.

With any recommendation that you get, it is advisable to complete further research yourself before making a decision.
