Lack of energy. I now feel that I am not so depressed but my energy level is so low that after doing a small housework job I have to sit down. Can anyone suggest I can take anything to boost my energy I am taking vit B12, D and oil capsule. I don’t sleep well at night.

I'm with you Margaret. I'm going through the same symptoms, but I am depressed. I've upped my B12 supplement into the 2,000 mg range, and I've ordered a fish oil supplement with a higher EPA number: Nordic Naturals, Ultimate Omega 2X, from Amazon. I can sweep the floor, and change the cat box, but no more heavy cleaning, or cleaning the whole house in one day. Now it's one room, maybe, at a time, and then I have to recover. This Thyroid disease stinks!
Do you have your latest thyroid blood results to post on here. You may well need an increase.
Hi This is going to sound crazy but after months of minimal sleep and years of badish nights, I heard it was a good idea to put a pack of frozen peas on your chest to cool the Vegus nerves before bed. I had taken all the standard sleep tips on board and, as they weren't working, decided to give it a go. Well, blow me down, it worked. About a week later, I heard that Dr Michael Mosley finds taking a prebiotic powder in a drink 90 mins before bedtime is also good. I took this on board and after about 6 weeks of good sleep doing both of these things nightly, I can't honestly say whether they both work, one of them does and, if it is just one, which one it is. Who cares? I'm sleeping! xx

The pre biotic powder Michael Mosley uses is Inulin. I had trouble sleeping and found this very good. It is pleasant to take as it is sweet.

I don’t sleep and have taken inulin for a few years before bed. Not tried peas yet!
