Does alcohol inhibit the effects of T3 only medication

A simple question, I hope. I appreciate that in an ideal world, a teetotal lifestyle is healthier than one entailing alcohol (either in moderation or otherwise).

However, would either moderate or heavy drinking impact the effects of T3 medication on the body? Is it inadvisable to drink at all when taking T3?

Thanks!

Sorry, no idea about alcohol when on T3 only. But ever since being on thyroid meds I've not been able to tolerate much alcohol. One glass of wine with an evening meal is my limit now.

In moderation, and away from taking the tablets, no, it does not impact the T3. The peak absorbency is around 4 hours from taking the tablet, although the half life is around 2.5 days. As long as your liver is OK, that is. Cheers!
