Hello - I wonder if anyone has had an issue with their nails? My finger nails have started going white where the bed is and kind of goes down my nail. I am not sure if the nail is lifting up off the nail bed but it might be. I have the same issue with my toe nails - the chiropodist said it was fungal nail but the GP said it was my shoes pressing on my toes. Fungal nail solution didn't help so I left them as they are and that was years ago. I now have an issue with my finger nails so feel like this may be nutritional or a health issue? I also have had brittle, flaky nails since I've had Hashi's which did get better with supplements. I've attached a photo so you can see what I am talking about.

Thank you - it does sound like it is onycholysis so I'll mention it at my next GP appt. xx
It is psoriasis I have had it for over 20 years.on all my nails.I wear nail gel to hide it.
Hello there, I have the same issue and was told that it could be from using household chemicals such bleach is what I used for years with no gloves while washing dishes. But I never heard of psoriasis. I’m guessing this is what I might have. How do we treat this problem? My doctor was no help in solving the problem. I’ve been taking collagen with biotin to see if this may help with something. I have had it for years as well and hide it with polish where it has become tiresome.
If you have psoriasis this could be your issue.
I agree with Batty1. Sign of nail psoriasis.
