Ideal Blood Levels for Hashi people.

Does anyone know of a source with Ideal Blood levels on,to make it easier to discuss with GP and for your own practical help ?

in hypothyroid patients L-T4-replacement, that is sufficient to maintain a normal serum TSH, is accompanied by a serum free T4 that is higher than that in untreated euthyroid patients or normal individuals and may not result in an appropriately normal serum free T3 concentration. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/119... above article suggests that hypo patients on levo need higher levels of ft4 and that even those higher levels of ft4 might not result in adequate levels of ft3.

There are no ideal levels as we are all different. Two hypothyroid people may require completely different treatment and feel optimal at completely different levels.Most doctors tend to only look at the TSH but the actual thyroid hormones - FT4 and especially the active hormone FT3 - are the most important ones.

In order for T4 monotherapy to work, you need to be a good converter. As already pointed out, that may require you to have higher levels of FT4 than people without thyroid disease.

Both free T4 and free T3 should be tested at the same time to know how well you convert T4 to T3.

Thanks for this .. I didn’t write my post clearly enough it’s my fault !!I should have spelled out what I meant all the main things .. not he thyroid actually as I know that more or less Byrd the thi s like iron ferritin folate etc
