Thyroid alcohol/ethanol ablation

Hi, Does anyone know of a Doctor in the UK that offers thyroid alcohol/ethanol ablation for a cystic nodule? Thank you.

Apart from research studies it’s not been discussed on this forum. So there’s no previous examples of those with personal experience. I suspect it’s a rarely performed treatment.

According to BTF there are NHS centres in UK which do perform the procedure.

They don’t elaborate on which hospitals. There is some Nice guidelines reports for RFA (radio frequency ablation) similar procedure but apart for referencing using ethanol ablation after recurrence of cyst post aspiration method it does not specify further.

Before considering any treatment have a complete thyroid function test with antibodies and nutrients. What if any are your results?
