Trouble with getting prescription filled

Well I think this was rather ridiculous. Just needed my regular Liothyronine and Levothyroxine (both brand specified).

This was what I had to deal with because Morrisons couldn't fulfill my Liothyronine brand, only my brand of Levothyroxine.

4. Boots pharmacy ➡️

5. Back to Morrisons ➡️

Finally sorted!

Was this in part because both medicines were on a single paper prescription? Hence each pharmacy had to dispense both - or neither.

Yes, Morrisons had my Levo brand, but not the Liothyronine brand. Boots had the Liothyronine brand, but not the Levothyroxine brand. What a nightmare!

I think you'll have to ask the GP to split the prescription in order to avoid it happening again.

Yes, in future I will order my medications one at a time. I never want to be in that situation again.
