Yes, you have Hashi's. 175 is higher than 35.

TSH over 8 and only on 25mcg levothyroxine

Have you had dose increase in levothyroxine now to 50mcg

Bloods should be retested 6-8 weeks after EACH Dose increase

Likely to need several further increases in levothyroxine over coming months

Which brand of levothyroxine are you currently taking

Many people find different brands are not interchangeable

As you have tested positive for Hashimoto’s you need coeliac blood test done

Regularly retest vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Thank you for your reply. I have a doctors appointment this morning to ask for an increase to 50mg. I will also ask for a coeliac test. I was taking b12 and folic acid but the doctor advised this was sufficiently topped up so I could stop. I am still taking vitamin d. I am on mercury pharma from boots I was on Teva previously but I changed chemist. Thank you for all your help

I just thought I would give an update on my gp appointment yesterday. It was very quick but I have had my dose increased to 50mg levo and I will have a coeliac test in 6-8 weeks time when I have my thyroid and cholesterol tested. Having looked up coeliac disease I suspect that I do suffer from this as I have several of the symptoms and have done for years. I have learned that I shouldn’t leave any symptoms unchecked in the future. Thanks again to everyone on here for their help and support I am hopeful that I will eventually feel better than I have done for a long time.
