Hi wired 123 I get 5mcgm tablets of Sigma Pharma on an NHS prescription because I cannot tolerate acacia powder and I won't touch any Teva with a barge pole after being very ill back in 2012 due to Teva 100cgm levo tablets not delivering the correct dose.My scrip is sent direct to Springfield in Richmond on Thames and the meds usually arrive within 48 hours in the post.
No, I wonder if they buy them in bulk? I get a brown plastic bottle with 180 x 5mcgm tablets, which is 2 bottles.( 3x 5mcgm per day and then enough for 2 months.) (my first scrip was from Boots but after that they couldnt get hold of it, the tabs came in the original white plastic bottles with the PIL attached to the bottle.) I have to ask for a PIL. I discovered that pharmacies are supposed to be inspected like GP practices.
Springfield hasn't been inspected !! You should get a PIL with every scrip!!
Strange why they give you those bottles as it’s surely easier for them to dispense sealed bottles.
I wonder where they get their pills from as from what I can see SigmaPharm only supply these in the 90 tablet pack size so where are Springfield getting their stock from?
