Hello everyone,

I started Eltroxin by Mercury Pharma on the 12th November . Started with a modest 12.5mcg then last couple of weeks increased to 25mcg!

Had bloods done a couple of days ago and results are attached, I’m no expert but am I right in saying that I have lots more room to increase ?

Vitamins weren’t tested on this occasion but will be tested in January via medichecks 👍

Lots of room, yes. 25 mcg isn't even a normal starter dose.

Have you had antibodies tested?

Hello greygoose hope all well 😁No antibodies tested this time but previous bloods confirm hashimotos.

I think my T4 was only 15% through range last time , have I improved a bit ?

Well, rather doubtful on such a small dose. But difficult to say with Hashi's, because levels tend to jump around.

Absolutely.

The aim of a treated Hypo patient on Levo only, generally, is for TSH to be 1 or below with FT4 and FT3 in the upper part of it's range, if that is where you feel well.

No you haven't.

This time your FT4 is 12% through range. So no improvement but the difference is minimal so you've more or less stayed the same.

I think the most obvious thing to do is increase your dose to 50mcg, retest 8 weeks later to see what that achieves.
