Buying Thyroid Meds in Mexico

I guess this question is mainly for those in U S who travel to Mexico or those from elsewhere who travel there. Does anyone buy their Armour Thyroid there and bring it back? We have a relative who travels to Mexico for work, several times a year and would be happy to bring Armour back if it is available at a pharmacy there. My husband buys his Armour here in U S with a prescription, but it has become so costly. I've tried online searching pharmacies in Mexico with no luck.

The USA obviously has very different laws to the UK. The clause that allows us in the UK to import medicines only lets us do so for ourselves and members of our household.

It would not be legal if I asked a friend, or a relative who doesn't actually live in the same house, to bring a medicine into the UK after a foreign visit.

That is, check the applicable law.

The individual who travels to Mexico for work is one of our sons. My husband's Dr. said he'd be happy to write a script that could be taken to Mexico written for my husband and we would give our son the legal papers needed to pick up a script for my husband. I already checked into how this can be done. Unfortunately his Dr. had no info on any pharmacies there that carry it. I've heard from other HealthUnlocked members today, who have told me that Armour is not available in Mexico.
