Does the Southwark CCG fund liothyronine?

Hello everyone,

I used to live in Bristol and was told clearly by my (T3-friendly) NHS endocrinologist based there that liothyronine is not available despite my having a clinical need. I have moved to London but was keen to remain with this endocrinologist purely because he agrees I have a clinical need, although I am still having to buy my own liothyronine. However I recently read somewhere that in London, it's more likely to get it prescribed on the NHS. Before I request to be referred to a Southwark-based endocrinologist I just wanted to check how I could confirm whether this is true? Many thanks.

Looks like they follow RMOC guidance. I haven't read this fully though, so you'll need to read it carefully
