I love it when there is someone in with the GP in training. They are much more careful, the GP actually listens (or pretends!) and the only time I have ever been touched with years of a dodgy thyroid was a GP in training. I had to move his hands from behind my ears to my throat to show him where the thyroid is, but he is the only one who has ever tried to feel my thyroid!
I have been granted a dose increase!I just hope that this is a sign that new doctors are being trained to take notice of symptoms. It would be awful to think that she is in the minority. Maybe the health survey has brought about a change. Am I being too optimistic?
Oh no!! 😳 I didn’t mean to laugh at your comment I’m so sorry!! I was laughing at what Serenfach said about having to show the trainee GP where the thyroid is. I don’t think you’re grossly over optimistic at all. I think it’s great you got a dose increase on symptoms 😊 phew! It’s good news! Sorry again! 😣 just put my ‘laugh’ in the wrong place!
