Having just had a scan I have no thyroid left - or just a small amount - I have never had a goitre - can anyone tell me - what treatment they received if they have had the same issue. Is it T3 only and if so do you feel well again or is it still a struggle.

I have Ord's. And, I am on T3 only, because I cannot tolerate T4. But, I don't think that has anything to do with the Ord's itself. I think - though I have no proof - that it's due to the fact that I was undiagnosed and untreated for a long, long time before someone finally had the intelligence to do a blood test!
Usually, the treatment for Ord's is the same as for any other case of hypothyroidism, no matter what its cause: levo.
On T3 only I feel much better than on T4 only or T4+T3 - and much, much better than on NDT! But I wouldn't say I was 100% well. And, once again, I put that down to being undiagnosed for such a long time - nearly 50 years - and the permenant damage that was done during that time. With all causes of hypo, the sooner you get diagnosed and treated, the better chance you have of getting back to 100% well.
