Also in Daily Mail. Thanks lynmynott . Also good article by Alex Brummer beneath this, where he gets it right, that Levothyroxine does not suit everyone.

Shame they had to pick two 'elderly' (sorry Lyn 😉 ) women for the article. It just compounds the all too frequently quoted stereotypical age and sex aspect of thyroid disorders. Medics will just say 'old women' who cares :x

Agreed! But, on the other hand, there's also the endo movement [💩lol!] to reduce and reduce T hormones for 'older' patients... when they likely need them even more!
