It’s all very well suggesting taking time to relax but when you have a totally disabled husband and hypothyroidism, it’s not always possible. All you want to do is collapse in a heap and let the world go away.
I know that sounds stupid and useless, but it has just been suggested here that I may not need such a high dose of t3 (72mcg) if cortisol levels weren’t stopping correct absorption. This is based on blood tests making GP suggest non diabetic hyperglycaemia and other symptoms like low renal function. Also ferritin at 240ug/L and D at 65nmol/L despite gardening most of time and taking Accrete.
Have booked Medichecks saliva test but would really appreciate some helpful suggestions/advice before results...basically anything that anyone considers helpful. Medichecks’ comments that adrenal/cortisol probs often make one tired in the morning and have an urge for something sweet before bed. I have that!

I agree totally with SlowDragon. Cancel or return the Medichecks test, it is pretty much useless. It doesn't include DHEA and this is needed as well as cortisol as it helps determine the stages of adrenal fatigue if present. Also, with the 4 point test, considering that ranges are based on healthy people, two of them have zero as the bottom limit of the range, and logically if anyone had a cortisol level of zero they would be either very ill or in the morgue. Also for bedtime the range is 0-2 I think, the lowest they record is <1.5 and considering the bedtime level should be as low as possible then recording a result of <1.5 is useless at best, total nonsense.
Do the Regenerus one, it includes DHEA and has proper ranges for all samples.
