I was very interested to see your post as I take Metavive & feel quite well on it.I had Internal shingles in February & was really unwell & my Gp did a blood test because of the medication I was put on for it.My TSH came back at 26 which was a big rise as it's usually suppressed.Previously if over 2 I would have been feeling terrible but very strangely I didn't. When my Gp phoned to tell me I couldn't believe that it was so high.I upped my Metavive dose & 5 weeks later my TSH had come down to 7.I have to have more bloods soon because of the medication I take from ongoing Shingles problems. I did try & increase the Metavive again but felt hyper so backed down to the previous dose & feel ok on that.As I said before I had no idea that my TSH had risen until my GP told me.Don't know if this helps you or not.

Hi well I was on Thyroid s for years until it was far to expensive and hard to source...I used to pay £60 for a 1000!...anyway..started thyrovanz which was OK well I think it was...but again became hard to get hold of...so metavive...tried for 6 months and initially I didn't feel to bad but had bloods taken and my TSH was 49!...then noticed dry arms mainly...weight has always been a problem so I'm used to gaining for no reason!...anyway so back on levothyroxine 100mg which I'm quite sure isn't enough and very low ferritin...but my useless doctor hasn't give me iron...and I've got bloods on the 4th August to check my levels for thyroid so will see...I deffo prefer NDT but its got to hard to source and way more expensive.

There are several sources that are not rx from New Zealand. You can google them. I have figured out how much I need by experimenting. I've been using them for several years.

I too had to go back on Levo when I could not get any NDT. I began to feel really ill, strange flashing in my eyes, loss of balance, huge rise in the other autoimmunes, but it is so gradual you just live with it. I also had to start taking Levo the same day I had my first covid jab, so blamed that. I was worse after the second jab, so again blamed feeling so ill on that. I now realise all the symptoms I had when I was first on Levo came back with a vengeance. I am now back on Thyroid S, and it has taken a month of these to begin to feel well again. Thank goodness for NDT!

PM me if you need to know where I got the latest Thyroid S.

Hello. Please could I ask where you buy Thyroid S?I am running out of Armour and much preferred Thai Thiroyd. It’s no longer available so I want to try Thyroid S.

Thanks
