I've ordered a testing kit online thank you SlowDragon for recommending it's an advanced thyroid testing and vitamins.
GP results;
So my GP said "normal normal your thyroid is normal" I said, really, what's my free thyroxine, "oh the lab doesnt test it if TSH is normal range. "
So shes emailing the lab as FT4 as was requested by other GP.
My question is why over three years wd my FT4 be dropping under range to 10.3 (12-22) this is the 1st thing in the morning reading, no food etc)
Are they ever going to treat someone who's FT4 is low then scraping into their "normal" range of 12 to 13?
Am I just better paying Privately with these results I've ordered to see an endocrine specialist?
I feel for 3.5 years my symptoms have demonstrated must be going under in FT4 often as Ive been having symptoms all this time.
Yet they said normal on previous bloods solely in an in range TSH?
I spent over £4000 private insurance investigating neurological symptoms to make sure it wasnt neurological Like ALS, motor neurons or pinched nerves in my spine!
It's crazy that all along this could be a lack of free thyroxine in me.
3.5 years and I dont think I have to tell you folk how awful I've been feeling. Like something scraped off the floor!
Thank you
