Could someone advise me on whether I should increase my levothyroxine and how much I should increase my t3 by please. I’m on 125 levo and 18.75 t3. TIA.

T3 should not be increased by more than 1/4 tablet - 6.25 mcg - every two weeks.

Your levo may need increasing, but get the T3 right first. Never increase both at the same time. :)

I increased my 6.25 a week ago and I’ve been sweating excessively since then and had a headache and not sleeping well. Could this be coincidence or because of the increase. If the latter, will it settle? Many thanks for your help.

I'm afraid I don't know. It's not something I've ever experienced. I would write a new post and ask the forum, if I were you. :)

Was test done as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

When on T3, day before test, split dose into three smaller doses roughly equal 8 hour intervals. Taking last dose T3 at roughly 8-12 hours before test

Is this how you did your test

When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested

Most important question - how do you feel?

When you posted a couple of months ago you were on 125mcg Levo and 12.5mcg T3 and your results were

FT4: 21.7

FT3: 4.4

So it's strange that an increase in your T3 appears to have done nothing for your FT3 level but your FT4 has reduced from 97% to 47%

I really don’t know why it hasn’t gone up. I did the blood test 23 hours after the levo and 10 hours after the t3. Could it be because of Hashimoto’s? These were my results back in January when I was on 37.5 t3. I’m exhausted by tea time and I’m gaining weight rapidly again, at the moment.

Maybe you can't rule out Hashi's, but I wonder if it's the Tiromel, there have been some people had fake tablets, and some say they think theirs is weaker. If you want to send me a PM with batch number(s) I'll check against the information I've been gathering.

I don't know that 10 hours after t3 meds is enough time.

Yes it is. 8-12 hours is recommended.
