Chocking
Choking is a hypo symptom. Nothing to do with the levo. I can - and frequently do - choke on my own saliva! I don't think it has anything to do with it being bread, either - although a lot of people would say it's worth trying a gluten-free diet, I don't know if that would help with the choking.
We just have to be very careful to take small mouthfuls, chew thoroughly and swallow carefully.
My throat felt very narrow when I was under medicated. I couldn’t swallow an aspirin. Much better now. How are your levels, do you need an increase in meds?
Hello, I have graves disease and am on block and replace treatment(carbimazole and levothyroxine)My thyroid has been swollen on and off since I was diagnosed in 2018.I do have some difficulty swallowing at times and my throat feels full and as if it has a coating at the moment.I presumed it is just a symptom of having a thyroid problem.I don't have a visible goitre and my endo has not seemed to think it is a worry.Hope this helps.
