I have hypothyroidism and started meds 29 years ago, armor works best for me but is not the medical standard. Beyond endless struggles to maintain and lose weight because I did not maintain. I struggle with itchy inner ears, it’s relentless but no infection. Is this related to hypothyroidism?

For years I had eczema in my ears that was really itchy but just went away after I eventually became optimally medicated.
Thyroid meds can be fickle if cofactors aren't meeting standards. Is your Armour dose sufficient? Are your iron levels, etc adequate? Do you have Hashi and/or gut issues?
I have Graves and am optimally treated. All vitamins optimal too and STILL I have the itchy ears. A herbalist has suggested plantain leaves. I know I might look stupid with leaves protruding from my ears but am desperate so will give it a try.
My ears are dreadfully itchy but the condition predates my TT for thyCa so no in my case. Change in season triggers them, friend was fellow sufferer and no thyroid issues there either.
