Has anyone with hyperthyroidism ever had a goiter and if it made your voice sound deep and sore all the time?

Mine certainly made my voice deeper and more hoarse although I wouldn't say sore - hope this helps.

mine was sore a few months ago, came with a faltering of voicebox which descended into a grating cough, but it has gone now. felt like there was something stuck in my throat like a tablet that hadnt gone down, lasted about 2 months then went.

I’ve had a horse voice and difficulty swallowing (sensation of something stuck in my throat) during flares ups / periods of high stress - have lasted weeks on and off. I have also had no voice before. Goiter tends to show up when I’m under medicated or having a flare.

Thats exactly what it feels like I can't even lay on my back because it feels like something is pressing against my air ways so I lay on my side and its horrible isn't it, its just a pain in the butt when you gota wait couple of months to see a consultant to find out what's happening.
