RAI / GOITER

I felt much better after RAI Sheila, I went hypo approximately 3 months after having it.
By what i have read on this site its better to be hypo than hyper ? i have still got lots to learn here, just trying to take it all in, thank you for getting back to me
I did not have a goitre, but had 2 X RAi within 14 months of each other over 20 years ago. Recent scan showed shrunken thyroid. I have Hashimotos and have been ill with various things for years. If you have the treatment, please don't trust the yearly TSH only test that I was given. I was not medicated for over 16 years and suffered. Only just starting to feel reasonable thanks to this forums helpful people. x
Sorry to hear that, glad you feel a bit better, I still dont know weather to get the RAI its just i dont want to be hyper all the time as my body feels its ready to snap with this anxiety and nerves
