I take one 25mcg pill each day
Granted I've only been taking it a week, I'm not feeling anything from the T3. No benefits but also no adverse effects. No high heart rate, nothing. Is that normal?

Looking at previous posts
How long ago did you start on levothyroxine
Have you had thyroid antibodies tested
Had vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested
Nether levothyroxine or T3 will work if vitamins are low
Important to start slowly on levothyroxine and get all four vitamins tested and optimal before considering adding T3
I take 25mcg of T3 only. I feel well and have no clinical symptoms.
Do you take it once daily with one full glass of water and wait an hour before eating? If not - results may not be accurate.
I used to take a higher dose but reduced it going by 'how I felt'.
25mcg of T3 is approx equal to 100mcg of T4 "in its effect'.
Am I right to deduce that you weren’t taking anything before? Looking back through previous posts, your doctor wasn’t interested in your TSH of 6+, is that right?
Anyway—a week is too soon to call it. Assuming you’ve actually got your hands on the real deal of course—it seems it was only 10 days ago that you were asking where to get it from?
Is it definitely T3? I think I’m just surprised you got hold of it so quickly. Normally takes me weeks to get thyroid meds...
I tried T4 but my FT4 is always in the upper range even without medication so I thought there's no point in upping my T4. My doctors aren't interested, no, so I'm self medicating but will get regular blood tests on my own accord.
When I asked where to get T3 a nice member gave me an email address to someone who was sourcing it.
I’m with Jazzw. Firstly are you sure it’s genuine and secondly if you are and you’ve gone straight in at 25mcg I would hold tight. In another week you may notice a difference. From my experience and others t3 can be tough going. I felt it from about week 2-3 to at least week 8. At least.
I expect you want to get it down you and start feeling better but if you go to fast you will feel worse. Believe me. When people say start slowly they are saying it to help not hinder.
I'm surprised starting on 25mcg didn't make your head explode or something as we're always cautioned to start low and build up over weeks. That said I found 5 and 10 lio annoying and made me headachey whereas 20 seemed fine. I now take 25 spaced across the day along with 100 Levo and after four weeks have a spring in my step - literally my muscles are coming back to life.
What make of T3 are you taking?
And what expiry date and batch number are on the package? (Check blister pack and outer, if it came in that form.)
AbdiIbrahim Tiromel 25 mcg
Expiry is 05 . 2022
Batch number 20N293
SeasideSusie - is this one you recognise?
It's Turkish so I'm guessing "Parti No :" is the batch number.
Just feels like a sugar pill to me
That batch number is one that someone has said is ineffective yet another member says it's normal strength as far as they are concerned and they are fine on it.
I am sending you a PM Jtk11 and I would be most grateful if you could respond to it to help us as we are having a few reports of fake tablets at the moment.
