Radiation iodine help

Hi all

Had my 3 round of iodine radiation in 3 years

5000 this time

On 14th April

Lost all sense of taste

How can I get it back??

Any help would be greatly received

Hey there again :

Sorry I have no answers and I am still with distorted taste buds.

At least I'm now with saliva and not in constant mouth pain.

Further details are on my profile page : I don't wish to go into all the details again - I 'm trying to move forward and forget that period in my life.

I read that Zinc helps covid sufferers who lost senses of smell and taste so maybe it would help.

On our US forum inspire.com/groups/thyca-th... most people have reported that taste or both taste and smell returned anywhere from a few months to a year or so. Temporary loss of taste also occurs with EBR in the neck area for other cancers.
