Anybody hypo also suffers from PMDD

Hi everyone. Hope you're all coping well.

After having sorted my thyroid issues, I think.. I believe now that I suffer from PMDD...

I feel good after my period, however, a week prior to it, It's like a light switch, I go into a hole, feeling depressed and irritable. It goes away a couple of days after my period and it comes back every couple of months sometimes every month.

This happened before I started taking T3, then I was stable for almost a year, and it came back since Xmas.

I haven't changed anything, medication wise, so I wonder why it came back.

After reading a bit into it, I see that there's not much research done and again doctors don't especially understand it. Why is it that there's not much research done for any thing affecting women!

Does anyone have any insights to share?
