Question about medichecks thyroid test

Hello,

I’m going to purchase a medichecks test, (possibly visit a clinic for it as I’d like the folate level.)

If I do the home one can I order it and wait a couple of weeks to actually do it? Or does it have to be done immediately? Asking as I note it says don’t take b12 for 2 weeks, but I’d also like to time it mid cycle too.

Thanks

You usually get a few months to take the test, there will be an expiry date on the test when you receive it.

You get 120 days to return your sample so you will be fine.

Sorry, another question! If I book the clinic option, do I receive the kit and book in and take it to the clinic or does the whole test get arranged via them?

Are there private clinics doing blood draw in middle of pandemic?

If yes.

You order vacutainer rather than DIY finger prick test

Pick clinic you want from list on Medichecks site

Kit is delivered to you

You book blood draw appointment with clinic

Clinic give you blood test tube back and you post it back

Only do test early Monday or Tuesday morning and post back via tracked 24 hour postal service

Thanks. It’s allowing me to click add to basket. The same place does baby scans and the nipt tests.

Hi.

I bought a Medichecks one during their Christmas sale and did it only the other day so yep, you can leave it a bit.

I would say I did it on a Tuesday and sent special delivery by 12pm the next day. Medichecks confirmed receipt of it at exactly 12pm the following day and I had the results bang on 4.30 pm that day. Talk about speedy service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

x.
