Hi, I take 10 mls Gaviscon advance last thing before I lie down to sleep to help with reflux ,which it does.Would this interfere with thyroxine I take first thing when waking up in morning ?

Acid reflux is hypothyroid symptom, usually caused by LOW stomach acid

Important to regularly test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Low stomach acid leads to low vitamin levels

Hi slow Dragon ,yes taking vi t d, b12 in the 700 s last checked ,can't quite remember level ,not eating after 6 .ferritin could be better. But I was just wondering about if taking Gaviscon at night ,if it would still be in digestive tract in morning and if it would interfere with my morning thyroxine uptake.
