When I lie I fell beats from my chest so kindly help me to sort out this serious condition. My last thyroid results tsh less than 0.1 and lab range is 0.4-4.2

t3 is 3.89 and lab reference is 1.3-3.1

and t4 being 133 lab reference is 66.-182.

Hi. I have Graves as well and same symptoms. I am not an expert. I would say you are under medicated. I see T4 is in range and T3 out of range. Same happened to me and they were talking about block and replace. Essentially adding levothyroxine to bump the T4 up as it falls into the lower end of the range. When do you see Your dr or Endo next?

Week ago he prescribed carbimazole 5mg thrice and propanolol twice a day. Yet i was using this for so long almost 2 months but most embracing thing is my palpitation which is continious all the day. For 2 months. Am feeling the heart beat from my chest constantly . Let me ask how have you managed it.

Waiting your response thank you

Important to regularly retest vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Graves’ disease trashes vitamin levels

Also very common to find strictly gluten free diet helps, sometimes significantly

Get coeliac blood test first before considering 3-6 months trial gluten free

It is important to understand that while carbimazole can, and does, stop the formation of new thyroid hormone, it does nothing for the thyroid hormone already in your body.

It is possible that your dose is not high enough - your doctor could increase it. 15 milligrams a day is not even the standard starting dose. Though it is good you are taking it in multiple doses.

However, the time from starting carbimazole to feeling relief is variable and can be a few weeks.

For some, they are feeling hyperthyroid and then, fairly suddenly, the thyroid hormone levels drop and they feel hypothyroid. This can be quite a shock.
