Not a true thyroid question, but likely the best place to ask... Does anyone know of anywhere you can get a gluten and dairy free panettone? It’s my favourite Christmas food. And I am not skilled at baking. (Love cooking, hate baking.)
Thanks and hope everyone is surviving!

I noticed a gluten-free one the other day - but can neither remember where nor did I even consider dairy-free! Still, I did find this one - expensive! Obviously cannot comment on the product or company.
I timed it badly - with the problems with delivery companies entering and exiting the UK due to new strain COVID, then Brexit, the company had to cancel the order. Going to look out for the Tesco one for next Christmas, and keep an eye on this one too. If I ever get my hands on one I will let you know!
Oh, what a shame! Thanks for letting me know ... look forward to hearing from you next year 😉 PS I’ll let you know if I come across a good panettone too ...
I just got this one, GF, lactose free, but does contain soya. Not tried it yet, but it has actually arrived, which is a good start! Only took 4 days to arrive. tenutamarmorelle.com/collec...
Hello Yppah! So good of you to remember. I’m sensitive to the protein in milk (casein) too so wouldn’t be able to have it but I hope it hits the spot for you 😊. I’ve not found a panettone that fits my requirements but have stocked up on free from mince pies and Christmas cake from Foods of Athenry, do you know this brand? They are very, very good. Wishing you a happy Christmas and good health in the new year, Donna x
Oooh I will check them out thanks! I am not sure what causes me problems with dairy, but going to try this one anyway. In the new year I plan on eating some dairy and getting tested to try and find out as I really miss it! Happy Christmas to you too!
I’ve got a tiny one that we got in Tesco but I bought it ages ago so I’m not sure if they will still have them. I’m planning on using it to make a bread and butter pudding.
