Chaseincc,
A CBC test does not measure thyroid levels, so I think there must be some confusion.
Have a look here for information about what is included in a CBC test: webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/com...
Hypothyroidism usually presents with TSH being high or very high, and Free T4 and Free T3 being very low in range or under the range.
Hyperthyroidism presents with extremely low TSH and very high Free T4 and Free T3.
So what does "thyroid levels are a bit low" actually mean in practice? TSH is low, implying the person might be hyperthyroid, or Free T4 and Free T3 are low implying the person might be hypothyroid? It makes a big difference.
I know it's been a year since this post but how are you doing? I've had thyroid issues since 2011, I think, it's 2021 and I'm here still. I also suffer with anxieties and really bad pains in my body, yet, I'm still here. Kinda worse for the wear but here. I really think stress and anxieties is your biggest hurdle though. I'm one who can't stomach that statement, but it really seems that way with you. If you you're reading this now (which happens to be a year later) I'm sure you've come to terms with that by now
