Cerazette and hypothyroidism

Hello everyone,

Can anyone tell me whether it's safe to take Cerazette with hypothyroidism? I've tried it in the past and I feel like it gave me mood issues during those times, but I had subclinical hypothyroidism one time and then I was really undermedicated on levo only the other time. I'm now feeling great on levo and liothyronine so I'm wondering whether I might be able to tolerate it now. Does it affect absorption of thyroid hormones? Thank you.

I took Cerazette for fibroid pain and it affected my mood and libido negatively. I have read online that progesterone and estrogen can affect thyroid. How desogestrel affects thyroid function I cannot say because I quit Cerazette after a few weeks.
