Anyone experience of Dupuytren

I have what I believe to be Dupuytren based on a painful nodule in my left hand. Does anyone else have this & what have you been able to do about it please?

Dupuytren's contracture runs in families. It runs in mine - mainly the men, I think. They've usually had surgery for it.

However there also seems to be a link with thyroid problems. Google for "dupuytren's contracture and underactive thyroid" and you'll find several articles which look helpful.

Also search HealthUnlocked and you may find others.

Thanks. There is nothing in my family but I was diagnosed with Hashimotos a couple of years ago.
