I am another person who is looking for an alternative to the Thailand NDT. Can anyone tell me if it is stronger or weaker ? I’m on 2 thyroid tablets 120 grams do I need to take the same 120 grams of Metative? And can anyone who has switched already tell me how they find it in comparison? Grateful for any advice.

Switching from Thai NDT to Metative
My supply of thyroid s is getting low.I was taking three tablets a day,one on waking, another at 1oclock and one at half past six.
To make them last a bit longer i take a thyroid s tablet on waking, and the other two doses have been switched to metavive II (80mg per tablet).
Blood tests results are more or less the same, apart from t.s.h. Has risen from .125 to 1.48.
Hope this helps.
I was taking 3 grains of Thai NDT and because I couldn’t get it I bought metavive 11. I have been taking it 7 weeks and got up to 4 capsules but it hasn’t helped me at all. I am so desperate I am going to take Levo even though it made me ill last time I tried it. We are all different though and some people find success with metavive so it’s worth trying. I hope you find a solution that keeps you well, I know how tough it is .
So sorry to hear that but I crashed earlier this year still on the Thai NDT couldn’t understand why it wasn’t working. Then someone told me about checking my adrenals and after taking a supplement with hydrocortisone I was back to normal for me, though I still take a small dose, wouldn’t be able to cope without it.
PM me x
Hi Magsyh, how are you feeling? I am having a telephone consultation we the gp next week and assume he will put me back on Levo. I am hoping I feel better than I did a few years ago on it. How are you coping with adding t3? At the moment I am 61 but feel 101!!
I have been trying Tru for the last 3 or so months and it just doesn't seem to be doing much for me. I also am looking for a suitable alternative, Thai or otherwise.
