On GP instructions reduced t3 from 80 to 70mcg after t3 read 8.6 (3.2-6.8) in late August. Now only 3.8. TSH at <0.01 (0.24-4.2) and t4 (<0.24-4.2) same as August. Still feeling well and energy improving all time. Don’t take levo.
Jim, on here, raised the worry of low TSH being bad for bones. Is that true or is it the fact that an under-active, untreated thyroid is harmful for bones?
If the t3 I take is making my body work properly again, then I can understand why there isn’t much TSH in my blood. But do I need to see more in my blood? What sort of level of TSH do people with normal thyroids see, please?
Help, please! Lynn
