Iodine dressing

Hello All

On Thursday I had an iodine dressing from my lovely nurse at my GP surgery for a burn as it turned into a blister. By Friday I was feeling very ill and as though my hypo symptoms had returned, with a swollen and painful right side of my neck over my thyroid area, with difficulty swallowing. I have gone right off eating very much at all. Would it have been the iodine dressing that caused this?

Otherwise, I am glad to say the burn isn’t looking too bad! Swab results next week.

Any advice would be appreciated as ever.

I am not giving advice here but I use lavender oil on a burn straight away and it helps a lot, also cuts. However, it sounds as if your burn is pretty bad to blister and you must follow medical advice.
