Feel very Fatigued, dizzy when I stand up & low energy all the time I’m on venlafaxine

I stated using venlafaxine 150mg 10 months ago. I went from training all the time to sleeping a lot during the day & feeling weak, fatigued all the time. Sometimes I feel sick and or dizzy, with headaches & other times I’m so tired that I just have to sleep. Is this normal or should I go back to my GP? I’ve told them about it but they have not linked it to the venlafaxine. Has anyone had these symptoms?

Welcome to the forum.

Side effects of Venlafaxine, which I'm sure you've read about in the patient information leaflet, can include nausea, dizziness, headaches. Maybe suggest to your GP that he checks the known side effects.

This is actually a forum for people with thyroid conditions, so I'm wondering if you've come to the right place? There may be other forums more suitable where you'd find people who take this medication. Maybe this one
