There's always corruption somewhere.

I once had a long social conversation with an eminent doctor, he told me

"do you think that if a cancer research charity found a miracle cure for cancer they would immediately announce it to the world? they would all be out of a job soon after and the money would stop, they are businesses and they intend to survive. There's no money in well people, most pharmaceutical companies want to manage your illness, not cure it"

I'm inclined to agree.

I agree. Research and medicine are corrupt in so many ways.

I remember reading about a research company that found a cure for Hepatitis C. They made their cure available to all and sundry, and can look forward to their business fizzling away.

That is precisely why the BTA and many other medical institutions lie to us about NDT, why every CCG agrees with them and why nearly every doctor does the same either in ignorance of the truth or in defiance of the INSTRUCTION from the GMC that they MUST tell patients about products such as NDT if the doctor believes it may help the patient.

They seem to be in fear of the repercussions from Big Pharma as so many less patients would need their other drugs when they became well again.

“If the doctor believes it may help the patient” - that’s the problem - so many doctors these days don’t believe it will help the patient so they don’t tell the patient and where does that leave the poor patient.

In the case of my CCG it is 100% CERTAIN that every doctor within it is well aware of what NDT does. Several GP's have even let it slip to me that this is true and presumably that they can do nothing about it. I was referred to the nearest main hospital in this county where an "endocrinologist has been given permission to prescribe NDT and immediately offered it to me (on private prescription!!!). The "endocrinologist" is actually a SURGEON!!!

The entire GROUP of CCG's in the COUNTY MUST be aware of this way out!!!

This group is merely one of the groups administered by a "super group" responsible for perhaps ½ or more of the entire UK!!!

I am currently awaiting a reply to my complaint from the Professional Standards Authority who regulate the GMC and report to Parliament.

I didn’t mean you weren’t 100% suitable - what I meant was some doctors refuse to accept T3 is what you need and if they ‘decide’ that in their opinion they don’t believe thatT3 will help you then you are stuck.

As for ‘super groups? ‘ our small town has three different surgeries and they all belong to a different ‘super group’ all linked to other surgeries miles away. I can’t see the point in that. Especially as the quality of service in them all is declining, the original partners have left and none of them are a patch on what they used to be in the past.

Same with schools, they all seem to belong to various ‘super groups’ and I’d say they aren’t providing a better service either. Especially when they have enormous numbers of students crammed into their ‘super schools’ with not enough space.

I know I come from another age but I’d say ‘small is beautiful’ and that’s the way to go especially with covid etc.
