Been taking 50mg Actavis and 25mg Workehart for 6 years but when Actavis changed to Accord i took it for 28 days but was very ill, i managed to get a months supply of my usual Actavis and felt much better, so for the past 4 days i have been taking Mercury Pharma 50mg and 12.5mg not wanting to take Accord again. Am i expecting too much too soon, im feeling very unwell since taking MP, dizzy, not with it, brain fog, achey joints, no energy, sore throat, not sleeping, breathings not that great either.
I was hoping i wouldnt get this many symptoms on MP pining all my hopes on this brand, do you think it will settle down or should i take it its not going to agree with me.

Feeling sick, eyes blurry, headache (not something i normally suffer with), joint pain, brain fog, memory loss, puffy face, anxiety, hair loss. I went to the opticians as my eye sight was worrying me he immediately sent me to a and e eye clinic.
A few people have said they think there is something different since Actavis was rebranded as Accord. Maybe it's time people started doing a yellow card report. Have you done one?
I've gone from Actavis to Accord (which at 50 mcg is Actavis with different name) with no problems at all. Are you sure there's not some other reason you've got symptoms? What were the symptoms? If you check side of Accord packaging you will see who holds the manufacturing license. If it's Actavis, then they are the same as the Actavis you were taking.
No it was definitely the change over from Actavis to Accord.
Ive felt sick, stomach discomfort, hair loss, puffy face, constant headache, joint pain, dizzy, brain fog, couldnt finish sentances or remember names or places ( which ive never experienced) worst was blurry eyes, i went to the optician and they sent me straight to a and e eye clinic. It was a horrible experience which i am convinced was Accord, i had a box of Actavis that the pharmacist got for me, so started taking them and all the smyptoms stopped. I knew i had to find another brand as i only had one months supply, thats where i am at now, just hope i settle down with MP. I am a poor converter, from T4 to T3 and believe i need some T3, but it seems an uphill battle which is so unfair to have to deal with when you are feeling ill. Im seeing nhs endo december just hope it doesnt get cancelled. I know i wont get anywhere, two years ago my endo tried to get a 3 month trial of T3 but the powers above said no, that was Addensbrooke Hospital in Cambridge.
Just thinking, it could be a bad batch. Have you kept the packaging for the batch number? If so, report the batch number when you yellow card as Seasidesusie has suggested.
I’m the same. I only realised today they were not Actavis anymore. I’ve been taking them for around two months and my hair loss and brain fog is just awful. What brand are we supposed to take now? It’s so frustrating
I asked gp to mark Mercury Pharma on my prescription, it seems like a popular brand on here. Ive been taking it for four days now and im not feeling well at all, my eyes are blurry, i feel sick, brain fog, archey joints, breathing not right and feeling pretty much out of it.
If this continues i will go back to taking Wockehart but take 2 tablets and split one in half, 62.5mg.
I've also definitely felt a huge difference in the change over from Actavis to Accord. I didn't even notice for the first month or two, and slowly but surely, symptoms started creeping in. I'm exhausted all the time, stomach is playing up, hair loss, totally random panic attacks & anxiety, palpitations, shaking.. I think I feel incredibly overmedicated! Nothing is changing for the better. Teva were no good for me, neither were Mercury Pharma, so goodness knows what fight I'll have to put up with the GP to convince them that despite "the ingredients being the same, it's just a brand change!", something is DEFINITELY different. Also I noticed the pills themselves don't feel the same.
I totally agree they seemed different to me too. I took them for 28 days and the side affects were just like yours as soon as i stopped taking them the symptoms went. Now im trying to get on with MP but at the moment im not feeling good.
