I live in Brazil and I need some help. I will do the saliva cortisol test. I'm confused, the instructions in 2 labs are different from each other.
Saliva testing in the US:
You will receive 4 vials to fill halfway with your saliva, not including the bubbles. One vial is right when you wake up, or within 30 minutes after your morning wakeup. Another vial is for around 11am - 1pm, or your “noonish”, which is approx. 4 hours after you wake up. Another vial is for late afternoon, or 5ish. Another vial is for bedtime.
Saliva testing here in Brazil:
Early morning: between 1 and 5h (If you wake up spontaneously)
Morning: Upon waking up
Afternoon: Between 16 and 17 hours
Night: Between 22 and 23 hours
I don't know which one to follow.
I called the lab (here in my country) and they said to follow the instructions from Brazil, but it seems to me that the US is more correct.

When I do a saliva test there is an instruction sheet that comes with it that tells you exactly what to do. Is there such an instruction sheet that came with your test? If so then you follow those instructions.
I thought you were asking which instructions you should follow?? I think it's obvious that you should follow the instructions that come with your kit.
Testing your cortisol has nothing to do with you taking T3. The instructions, I expect, say to take your medication as normal (the instructions that come with my kit does). So take your T3/T4 as you normally do.
