Will it interfere with my thyroid medicine
Very possibly.
We should only take iodine if tested and found to be deficient, then only under the supervision of an experienced practioner.
Iodine in solution used to be used to treat hypERthyroidism, so can make hypOthyroidism worse.
The daily recommended intake of iodine is 150mcg and this is easily obtained from food such as milk, yogurt, haddock, cod, etc:

Also, levothyroxine contains iodine (not as an added ingredient - T4 contains 4 iodine atoms, one iodine atom is released when it's converted to T3. ). 100 mcg levo contains 65 mcg iodine which is recycled in the body.
So you can see why taking an iodine supplement is not recommended unless you know you are deficient.
Multis are generally not recommended anyway, they contain too little of anything to help low nutrient levels or deficiencies, and besides iodine they can contain other things we need testing for first before supplementing, eg calcium, iron, Vit D. Also, if it contains iron then this affects the absorption of everything else, iron needs to be taken at least 2 hours away from other supplements and medication, and 4 hours away from Levo.
Please add your country to your profile (suspect not UK)
Do you have Hashimoto’s?
As your taking levothyroxine you are already getting iodine
No iodine is not recommended unless you have been tested as deficient.
Also if the multi vitamins contain Iron it will block the absorption of other vitamins.
You should only take the vitamins that your body lacks otherwise you can knock things out of balance.
What you need to understand is that doctors have no training in nutrition. They know nothing about nutrients and how they affect thyroid/thyroid hormone replacement/health in general. One of my major rules is never, ever, to discuss nutrition with any sort of doctor. Some of the 'advice' they give is just mind-boggling!
